A Message from the Founders

AC&C Support Cleaning Ltd was created in 2023 by three people who shared not only professional experience, but also the same vision for how cleaning services should be delivered. After many years working together in the cleaning and facilities industry within large companies, Carlos, Alessandra, and Alfredo saw an opportunity to do things differently. They understood the challenges clients face in finding reliable, professional cleaning services and believed there was a better way to support businesses, property managers, and communities. With that shared belief, they decided to create AC&C Support Cleaning Ltd — a company built on trust, professionalism, and strong relationships with clients. The name AC&C represents the founders themselves and the partnership that drives the company forward. Each founder brings experience, dedication, and a genuine commitment to providing high standards of service in an industry that is often very competitive. Their goal has always been simple: to work closely with clients to create cleaner, safer environments for people to live and work in. By focusing on quality, communication, and reliability, they aim to build long-term partnerships and deliver services that clients can truly depend on. AC&C Support Cleaning Ltd continues to grow, but the values that inspired its creation remain the same — hard work, integrity, and a commitment to making a positive difference in every space we care for.

Carlos Antunes, CEO

Carlos Antunes was born in Portugal, where he developed an early interest in business, communication, and personal development. Motivated to build a career with international opportunities, he completed professional training in marketing and sales. With strong ambitions and a willingness to grow through experience, Carlos made the decision to move to the United Kingdom in search of better professional prospects. Like many immigrants starting a new life abroad, Carlos began his journey from the ground up. His first role in the UK was working as a cleaner for a local company. Rather than seeing this as a limitation, he treated it as a valuable opportunity to learn the cleaning industry from the operational level. During this period, he developed a deep understanding of cleaning processes, service standards, and client expectations. Through dedication, reliability, and strong leadership potential, Carlos quickly progressed within the company and was promoted to Area Supervisor, where he began managing teams and overseeing service delivery across multiple sites. Seeking further growth, Carlos later joined a larger facilities services company as an Area Manager, where he worked with cinema clients including Cineworld. In this role he was responsible for operational performance, staff management, and maintaining high service standards in a demanding entertainment environment. After three successful years, Carlos accepted a new opportunity with another company, managing contracts for major cinema chains such as Vue Cinema and Odeon. Over the following two years he strengthened his expertise in large-site operations, client relationships, and contract management. Continuing his professional progression, Carlos then moved to another organisation where he worked as an Account Manager, responsible for managing contracts with a combined value of approximately £1.5 million. In this position he focused on strategic account management, operational performance, and long-term client partnerships. Two years later, Carlos joined another company to launch and develop a major project with Amazon, again working as an Account Manager. His leadership, operational planning, and ability to manage large teams led to significant project success. As a result, he was promoted to Regional Operations Manager for the South Region, overseeing multiple sites and ensuring high performance across the region. After concluding this chapter of his career, Carlos decided it was the right moment to take the next step in his professional journey. Drawing on years of industry experience, operational leadership, and client management, he chose to pursue entrepreneurship and begin building his own company. Carlos Antunes’s story reflects determination, resilience, and continuous growth — a journey that began with frontline work and developed into senior operational leadership. His experience across major national clients and large-scale contracts provides a strong foundation for his new chapter as a business owner.
